About me

I'm a child of the 80s and an Orphan of Netscape ¹. My first computer was an Amstrad CPC 6128 with the green GT65 monitor.

I unsuccessfully tried to learn some assembly on that. There was nobody to tell me I would need an assembler, so after some frustration with the Basic prompt not getting the assembly commands I found in a magazine, I stuck on with Basic. I believe the effects of that choice are still lingering after all those years.
